Image of Dgtronix ONIX-KIT-FMC-IPASS-FMC-8X Module The 6162-ONIX-KIT-FMC-IPASS-FMC-8X from Dgtronix is a VITA 57.1-compliant FMC (HPC) mezzanine board designed to bridge high-speed FMC interfaces to an iPASS x8 connector. The board enables engineers to route eight high-speed lanes (up to 14 Gbps per lane, depending on cable and equalization) from an FMC-capable carrier into a modular iPASS system. It also integrates USB-to-UART and USB-to-SPI bridges, GPIO headers, multiple u.FL clock/reference connectors, status LEDs, and selectable user I/O voltage flexibility.

The board supports both internal and external clock sources: two u.FL connectors for GTH reference clocks, a programmable oscillator, and distribution via clock buffer. The board’s layout includes support for both transmit (TX) and receive (RX) GTH lanes across u.FL connectors, plus control and status lines via a 10-pin user header. It is ideal for bridging mezzanine channels to cable-based modular systems or enabling modular I/O over cable infrastructure.
