With various interfacing options the latest multi-axis series is a fit for any application.

TMCL™: Module can be used standalone like a specialized "mini PLC" or in a field bus-environment without the overhead of a full featured CANopen or EtherCAT master.

TMCL™ IDE: Like all TRINAMIC modules, the boards benefit from their development environment TMCL-IDE, which allows for optimizing parameters, testing and scripting. TMCM modules are widely used in applications with a high demand in reliability and longevity like lab automation, industrial automation, and semiconductor manufacturing.

CANopen®: With the CANopen version, the drives can be hooked up to an industry standard CANopen network controlled by a host PC, PLC, or motion controller. CAN offers single-channel connection to many devices and an efficient path to system integration. The standardized protocol allows for connection with standardized master PLCs or PCs.

EtherCAT®: For even higher requirements on scalability, synchronization and communication speed, the EtherCAT-based types can be connected over the Ethernet-based bus system EtherCAT. The standardized and widely adopted protocol CANopen over EtherCAT allows for communication with standard master software.
