Image of Vishay Dale's TNPW High-Stability Thin-Film Chip ResistorsVishay TNPW series thin film resistors with very low resistive drift less than or equal to ±0.05% after a 1,000 hour life test are an excellent choice for applications where precision and long term stability are required. This thin film series features the specialized Vishay passivation method for superior moisture resistance and has been tested and qualified for the severe automotive +85°C/85% biased humidity test. The AEC-Q200 qualification makes this series an appropriate choice for high reliability applications. TNPW and TNPW e3 series resistors are available in the 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, and 1210 case sizes, with a wide resistance range from 1 Ω to 3.01 MΩ and enhanced power ratings up to 0.52 W. The TNPW e3 series is offered with pure tin termination plating which is RoHS compliant while the TNPW series features tin-lead (Pb) termination plating. Additionally, the TNPW e3 series is impervious to sulfur exposure, verified in accordance with the ASTM B 809 and ANSI/EIA-977 standards.
