DC2302A

Demonstration Circuit DC2302A is a kit of the DC2300A demonstration board, featuring the LTC® 4123EDC, and the DC2301A Single Switch Transmitter demonstration board. The DC2300A can charge a single NiMH battery at up to 25mA, with an air gap of 0.8mm to 4.0mm. The DC2300A detects Zinc-Air primary cells and will not charge them.

An associated layout module enables direct instantiation on to a system board, while an optimized and fully-tested bill of materials (BOM) takes the guess-work out of component selection. Foreign Object Detection (FOD) tuning is supported via selectable pre-programmed curve settings and technical documentation.

The 5 W, 5 V solution is suitable for a wide range of applications, including PC peripherals, furniture, medical devices, and other portable devices still hindered by traditional contact-based charging bases or cables.

EPC's EPC9121 is a high-efficiency, power demonstration system, capable of operating to multiple wireless power standards. It is compatible with the Qi standard of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), the Power Matters Alliance (PMA) standard (now merged with AirFuel™ Alliance), and AirFuel (formerly A4WP) wireless power standards. In AirFuel resonant mode, hence referred to as AirFuel mode, the EPC9121 system operates at 6.78 MHz with the amplifier circuit configured for ZVS operation. In this mode, the system can deliver up to 10 W of power into the source coil. In Qi/PMA inductive mode, the system operates at 165 kHz with the amplifier circuit configured for hard-switching operation and can deliver up to 5 W of load power into the device. The purpose of the EPC9121 is to simplify the evaluation process of both resonant and inductive wireless power technologies using eGaN FETs and eGaN ICs.

The STEVAL-ISB044V1 evaluation kit has been designed for devices, such as smartphones or tablets, requiring high power levels. It supports wireless battery charging up to 15W. The embedded STWBC-EP digital controller transmitter is based on a cost-effective half-bridge topology providing external interfaces via UART and I²C. The kit also includes STWBC-EP firmware, a graphical interface for debug, schematics, layout files and bill of materials.

The STEVAL-ISB027V1 is a Qi 5 Watt wireless battery charger transmitter evaluation board based on the STWBC digital controller for wireless battery charger transmitters.
