This Real Time Clock (RTC) with calendar and alarm functions is very similar to the RTC module on the 5xx family. It includes several different interrupts, direct output in BCD format, comes fully calibrated, and is fully functional at LPM3.5 with system current consumption of only 1.5 µA. The analog comparator is also similar to the 5xx family and uses the same internal reference as the ADC10 module. It is capable of using 15 external channels, contains a selectable RC output filter as well as the capability to generate its own custom voltage reference. Finally, the comparator also has a hysteresis generator for more advanced operation.
